Sea Source Information

Sea Source is a unique organisation. Established as the Anglo-North Irish Fish Producers Organisation (ANIFPO) in 1984, it is a co-operative owned by fishermen in Northern Ireland. Sea Source is now the umbrella name for the company which is involved in the catching, processing, selling fish/ shellfish and operates offshore energy services. In effect Sea Source catches, sells and processes its own fish and shellfish products, with the aim of reducing costs and maximising the financial return to local fishermen. Sea Source offers a wide range of products that are harvested from the sea, available locally and exported across Europe. For over 150 years, generations of families have been fishing Northern Ireland waters. Sea Source is passing on its knowledge to their children and building a foundation for the next 150 years. When customers buy Sea Source produce, they are supporting fishermen from Northern Ireland, their families, their communities, their way of life, their heritage and their future.
