Founded in 1999, Sea Bags designs and manufactures tote bags, accessories, and home décor from recycled sails on the working waterfront in Portland, Maine. Our materials come from Maine first, New England second, U.S.A. third and it stops there. Our bags are designed and sewn in a building that hangs over the water. It's an unconventional location to be sure, but we think the sound of seagulls and the hum of local lobster boats is an important part of the character of our bags.
