The SDG Family Hotel, Youth Hostel and Conference Centre is located on the southern bank of Lake Balaton in the village of Balatonszárszó, within an hour reach from Budapest. The village’s most popular public beach is located at a 300 meter distance from the hotel complex. The hotel complex occupies a territory of 2 hectares surrounded by a beautiful park area. It is an ideal place for those who are longing for a quiet vacation and calm relaxation on the one part and would not like to miss the opportunities offered by Lake Balaton on the other part. Our hotel is open for its guests all around the year offering for their comfort 65 hotel rooms, a youth hostel capable of accommodating 90 young people and a 380-person conference centre. Our restaurant capable to seat 160 visitors coupled with an attached covered terrace provides high-quality gastronomy and catering services for 240-250 guests from early spring till late autumn. Our guests can choose HB or All Inclusive services. Our conference centre ideally suits the purposes of holding big and small conferences, performances, negotiations, refresher and training courses, seminars, trainings and team building coaching, presentations, workshops, banquettes, breaking-up festivals, Christmas parties. Besides, it can be also used for organising family events, like marriage ceremonies and wedding parties. Two out of four differently sized conference halls are communicating rooms, as those they are capable of accommodating up to 350 persons. Our conference halls are carpeted and provided with the air-conditioning equipment; the halls are bright thanks to the natural lighting, though they can be dimmed when needed.
