The Vancouver School Board is a large, urban and multicultural school district. The district is among the most diverse public school systems in Canada with an annual enrolment of approximately 50,000 students in kindergarten to Grade 12. In addition, the Vancouver School Board provides educational programs and services to full-time Adult Education students. Surrey Schools (School District #36) operates schools in Surrey and White Rock, British Columbia. It is the largest school district in British Columbia with approximately 77,000 students. Surrey Schools includes 103 elementary schools, 21 secondary schools, five student learning centres, three adult education centres and a variety of other programs serving a wide range of specific student needs. The district is Surrey's largest employer with about 12,000+ employees, including more than 6,000 teachers.

SD43 is the third largest school district in BC, with approximately 32,000 students attending 45 elementary schools (kindergarten-grade 5), 14 middle schools (grades 6-8), 11 secondary schools (grades 9-12) and alternative education options.
