Screen Wellington provides free support and advice on filming, locations, location permitting, local crew and business support in the Wellington region, We can also provide quick and easy access to the variety of landscapes and highly skilled production and technical crews found in the Wellington region. We've been around for over 20 years, making us one of the the most experienced film offices in New Zealand. We were the first to implement an online film permitting system! Our staff and network of location scouts are on hand to help you find that perfect spot. We also work closely with companies providing state-of-the-art services such as Weta Digital, Weta Workshop, Park Road Post Production and Stone Street Studios and Avalon Studios. We work with you every step of the way, and someone is always available to help and advise you 24/7. Once you’re ready to film, we will guide you through the permitting process as well as facilitate any further needs you may have.
