Bridge was formerly a joint venture between Synnex Information Technologies, Inc. and Taiwan's Institute for Information Industry, operating under the name of IT Bridge Corporation since November 1994. Learning is enhanced by using a variety of learning techniques including bilingual and hands-on experience with one computer per student. Students are provided with interactive discussions, individual and group exercises, along with question and answer sessions. Students have free access to the Lab and enjoy unlimited hours of usage. Equipped with more than 60 multi-boot Pentium PCs which are enhanced with Windows 98/NT and are connected to NT, NetWare and Unix (Linux) servers, the I.T. Bridge's training facilities are well recognized by our students as an ideal site for hi-tech professional development courses for career improvement, new career skills, or personal interests. This networked environment also satisfies most network and Internet testing requirement. For Internet access, all computers are connected via DSL to Concentric, our ISP (Internet Service Provider). The stations are loaded with a variety of Internet-based software, i.e. different Web browsers (i.e. Navigator, Explorer, etc.), connectivity (i.e., AOL, CompuServe, MSN, etc.), and so on. Some computers are also enabled with Chinese Windows or TwinBridge multilingual environment. Rational's Visual Test and Seque's QA Partner testing tools are also used in the Lab for students to create automated test scripts and our corporate customers. I.T.
