ScoutTools is a comprehensive web site service designed exclusively for Boy Scout Councils to help deliver and manage the Scouting program in the areas they serve. The ScoutTools software was developed in response to a growing demand for a council web site solution that was custom tailored to the Scouting program and met the specfic requirements that Boy Scout councils have in supporting their participants and volunteers. The design and methods used in the software have been developed and tested in Council websites since 1999. Over the years a set of "best practices" have been tested, refined, and have proven successful in helping councils support thier mission. The software has evolved to embody these "best practices".
