Scottish Capital is the investment office of John McGlynn. John founded his first company in 1994 whilst at law school and has been involved in over 50 new companies in the last 20 years. Scottish Capital was founded to give a more structured private equity focus on what is now a more diverse portfolio of interests beyond the traditional annuity revenue property focus of the last 20 years. Whilst the majority of our investments are wholly owned companies having an entrepreneurial owner means a flexible approach can be taken with quick decision making timelines if taking a majority or minority position with others. Scottish Capital is a long term investor in good businesses and we do not place any exit timelines or expectations on those we co-invest with. Our Head Office is in Douglas, Isle of Man, and our European Office is in Monaco.
