Scotland's 2020 Climate Group Information

Our vision is a stable, sustainable Scottish economy that supports Scotland’s ambitions as a world-leading low carbon country. We aim to be an influential voice for business leaders to engage in making Scotland a distinctive place for sustainable development. Since our formation in 2009, the Group has provided a platform for key sectors in Scotland to learn and share best practice and to come together to optimise business performance and environmental impact. Scotland’s 2020 Climate Group is an independent initiative led by a non-executive board, drawn from the Scottish business community and cross-sector partners, chaired by Lady Susan Rice CBE, one of Scotland’s most influential business leaders. The initiative is supported by the Scottish Government alongside other strategic partners including the 2050 Climate Group, Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), Centre for Sustainable Practice and Living (CSPL) and Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation. Secretariat support is provided by ECCI through Scottish Government funding.
