SCOBDO Information

For electronic invoices, many formats, versions and extensions exist. The mapping effort to get the automatic process work is huge: it grows quadratically with the number of formats. As trade is not hindered by intra-European borders, e-invoice services need to support most of the formats in use in all European countries and industries. The costs to develop all needed mappings will become prohibitive. The SCOBDO project enables automatic conversion and therefore has been selected for funding under the CEF program of the European Commission. The University of Groningen, GEFEG.mbH, the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, eConnect International, Logius, the Municipality of Groningen and Vanenburg software are part of the project consortium. The project runs from September 2016 to December 2017.
