Science Practice is a design and research studio in London that builds teams to work on ambitious science-focused projects and ventures. We currently host two teams – the Good Problems team and the BioDesign team, and an early-stage venture – SoilCards. The Good Problems team We work with funders, investors, and philanthropists to design innovative challenges and funding schemes in science and technology. We have designed over 30 challenges and funding calls including the £10M Longitude Prize. The BioDesign team We work with organisations of all sizes to help them conceptualise, design, and prototype the next generation of life science software tools. SoilCards SoilCards are paper tests that make soil-nutrient analysis easy, quick, and affordable to smallholder farmers who don’t have access to soil-testing laboratories.
