PATHFINDERS FOR AUTISM is a state-wide (Maryland) parent sponsored, 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with autism and those who care for them. Established in February 2000 by B.J. Surhoff and his wife Polly Winde Surhoff and other parents of children with autism, to provide a central clearinghouse of information for families seeking support for their loved one affected by autism. Pathfinders works toward: improved access to information and resources (for parents and professionals); improved autism awareness; earlier detection and interventions; training of professionals including first responders, community service providers, educators, hospitality staff, and more; and the development of lifespan services for individuals with autism and their families.
We are a BCBA and Family, owned and operated ABA company providing in home ABA services to children ages 2-17 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our goal is to have positive and lasting effects across all settings in which the client lives and interacts.
