Schmidt Information

Schmidt's is a household name in central Ohio and is the 14th oldest company in Columbus. Started as a meat packing plant in the south end of Columbus, today the company thrives in the hospitality, food and beverage business with their historic landmark Sausage Haus restaurant located in the heart of German Village along with a fleet of Schmidt's Sausage Food Trucks scattered daily around the suburbs and office complexes of the city. Famous for their old style sausage recipes like the award winning Bahama Mama smoked sausage as well as their succulent pastries like the jumbo Cream Puffs, German Chocolate Cakes and Cream Pies galore.
