Schimke Ranch Information

The Schimke Ranch was established in 1906, and has always been a working ranch. Currently we are producing commercial beef cattle, and we have a nice selection of speed-bred performance horses prospects. Check out our weanlings, and you will find nice prospects for Quarter Horse racing, barrel racing, cowboy mounted shooting, roping, and general ranch work. We are raising the type of horses that we like to ride. You will not find a single animal in our breeding program that is not proven in one aspect or another. We are striving for QUALITY, not quantity. We run very few broodmares as we have mainly gone to doing embryo transfers on our best mares. These are mares that we are actually using or have used in the arena ourselves so we know what they are, and we know that they will produce what we are striving for as an end product. Every dam of every foal that we offer for sale has been carefully hand picked. We feel that we are able to offer daughters of the most popular, proven bloodlines available in the business.
