Schelde volleyball systems were introduced to North American distributors in 1986 when Dr. Arie Sellinger, the U.S. Women’s Olympic Volleyball coach at the time, discovered the brand and its superior design and function while touring Europe. Today, Schelde Sports designs and engineers state-of-the-art, durable, institutional athletic equipment that is manufactured and installed in academic, professional and recreational facilities around the world. Schelde’s long legacy of innovation that keeps products one step ahead of the game continues, with enhanced focus on the needs of North American coaches, programs and players. Schelde Sports North America, the new North American subsidiary of Schelde Sports, identifies game-changing designs like the first lightweight, yet indestructible volleyball system invented by Schelde Sports in 1980, engineers them to US standards, manufactures in the US, and delivers authentic Schelde products, comprehensive service parts, and installation expertise direct to customers through a human-powered service model based in St Johns, Michigan.
