The office of SCHEER DESIGN, INC. is a full service design and expediting firm providing comprehensive planning services throughout the entire process from our initial evaluation to completion of construction. We have extensive knowledge of all areas of the various Building Departments and can provide our expertise with zoning codes, local ordinances, Zoning Boards and Architectural Review Boards in many towns and incorporated villages throughout Long Island and New York City. Our knowledge of all areas of the municipalities and Building Departments help our clients obtain permits, inspections, final signoffs and completion certificates in a timely manner. We prepare our construction documents using the latest Computer Aided Design (CAD) technology using 2D and 3D in our effort to utilize our time most efficiently whether in the office, at our clients or on the job site. We are a proud partner of the Energy Star and our comprehensive knowledge of home energy compliance and Energy Star homes including solar design and geothermal systems provide our clients the latest technology and resources to design homes with greater comfort while lowering utility bills long term. Our unique relationship with the general contractors and sub-contractors on every project allows open communication between our office and theirs throughout the entire construction phase. Assisting our clients in the selection of all materials from exterior finishes and windows to kitchen and interior design provides our clients with the most complete package to finalize their project down to the finishing details.
