Dale Willer created Schedulebook.com in 1997 as a Web-based application to facilitate communication among the owners and users of shared resources. Early customers included Aviation related partnerships, clubs and flight schools. Schedulebook has proved itself adaptable to the needs of many different groups of users. Members in the USA, Canada, China, Japan and the Netherlands use Schedulebook to manage a wide variety of assets and facilities. Members include television studios, chiropractors, dental clinics, community centers, local theaters, municipal facilities and aviation resources. In 2000, Apex Consulting acquired Schedulebook, with the goal of expanding its applications to support professional services, as well as other varieties of resources and assets. In addition to expanding the market segments for Schedulebook, Apex has focused on improving Schedulebook's usability.
