Scan-Top was formed in 1987 by Preben Jensen and Lars Pedersen as a partnership. The name 'Scan-Top' is short for 'Scandinavian Top', which was derived from their homeland of Denmark in Scandinavia. In the year 2002, Lars Petersen moved back to Denmark and sold his share of the business to Preben. Preben is the current owner and personally oversees the measuring of each job that goes out.
