ABOUT US – Founded in 1969 Scan-IT is part of Scan-Group, which was founded in 1969 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The roots of Scan-IT originate back to the days when it was a part of the Global IT Department of Shipco Transport, one of the world’s leading non vessel operating common carriers (NVOCCs). In 2014, the team and technology were spun off to establish an independent software development company with the purpose of developing and offering customized software solutions for the shipping, transportation, and logistics industry. On the 1st January 2015, Scan-IT officially started operations. Today we maintain our primary development center in Pune, India but are increasingly looking at expanding with a secondary development center in Barcelona, Spain. Scan-IT is headquartered in Singapore and is 100% Danish-owned.
