AVR beschikt over twee locaties waar energie en grondstoffen worden gemaakt van afval: Duiven en Rozenburg. In Den Haag, Utrecht en hartje Rotterdam bevinden zich 4 overslagstations. De centrale ligging van de locaties zijn zeer gunstig zowel voor de afvalleveranciers als de afnemers van energie en grondstoffen. Afval wordt zoveel mogelijk via water aangevoerd en waar dat niet mogelijk is, over de weg. Bij AVR werken 450 medewerkers.

Our industrial company’s roots lie in the Montedison School of Materials Science where some research workers started to develop an ambitious project to integrate chemistry, the environment and agriculture.
