Scala Computing is a New York based Vertical SaaS firm focused on enabling organizations to leverage the power of Big Compute easily, cost-effectively, and efficiently on public clouds - thru its industry defining Scala Compute Platform (SCP). The Scala Compute Platform is an end-to-end, secure and hyper-scalable high-performance computing (HPC) platform that enables application & infrastructure teams to deploy, manage and visualize complex compute-heavy ML/LLM workloads on the cloud. The R&D team at Scala has achieved a path breaking milestone by launching industry’s first discrete event network simulation platform - at Data Center scale - on the SCP. Some of the world’s largest Hyperscalers/Social Media giants along with several prominent Tier-1 network gear vendors use the SCP for their critical Network Simulation needs to benefit from Scala's innovative approach to scale Simulations by a factor > 1000. Scala Computing is one of the 3 founding steering members of industry's first Consortium for Multi-Party Network Simulation. This Consortium allows for running discrete event network simulations in a scalable fashion in Scala hosted cloud environment using contributed models from the entire ecosystem of silicon vendors, network equipment manufacturers, Hyperscalers & other Data Center operators. On the back of rapid adoption and growth of this ecosystem, Scala has established category leadership on Network Simulations at Data Center scale. In addition to discrete network simulation solution, which primarily focuses on the Data Plane, Scala Computing has launched another first of its kind Emulation platform to test the Control Plane and topology solution within a Data Center, using heterogenous networking gears.
