SC Distribution was founded in 1997, to help get the music of a few growing labels into the hands of the people that needed to hear it. Over a decade later, we have a few more folks working in our office and a bigger warehouse, but SCD is still based in Bloomington, IN. We serve as the exclusive distributor for a small group of premier independent record labels, including: Acéphale, Asthmatic Kitty, Awesome Tapes From Africa, Cloud Recordings, Constellation, Dead Oceans, Family Vineyard, FatCat Records, Glacial Pace, Hometapes, Jagjaguwar, K Records, Lovepump United, Monitor, No Quarter, Post Present Medium, Sacred Bones, Secretly Canadian, The Social Registry, Sounds Familyre, Suicide Squeeze Records, Table of the Elements, Temporary Residence Ltd., Tomlab, We Are Free, and Western Vinyl. Due to the size of our label group, we are very deliberate and selective about making additions. Also, we generally do not carry individual titles on a non-exclusive basis.
