The company was set up in year 1986 by Mr. Manoj Mehra, CMD, with a vision to bring fashion from ramps and mannequins to the consumer. The company entered the retail arena of Indian ethnic wear under it's Brand Name- Study By Janak, synonymous with stylized occasion wear, and is today available across several locations in the Northern India. The company believes in setting new milestones and re-inventing itself and it's offerings. The Group operated under the brand name Study By Janak and has recently ventured into the Luxury arena through a concept store- SBJ House of Luxury. The concept has been set up by Mr. Ayush Mehra, Director, with a vision to get the international luxury experience to India, by way of setting up new standards in service to a retail client. The group has recently branched out into another business by launching an Institute- SBJ Center of Excellence with the objective to create highly skilled workforce empowered with improved skills, knowledge and equipped themselves for earning their livelihood. It aims to increase the productivity of workforce both in the organized and the unorganized sectors, seeking increased participation of youth, women and other disadvantaged sections and to synergize efforts of various sectors and reform the present system.
