The Seguradora Brasileira Crédito à Exportação (SBCE), founded in 1997, offers a modern instrument capable of providing greater competitiveness to Brazilian exports. That is the export credit insurance (ECI), purchased by Brazilian exporters against the risk of default arising from foreign buyers. Based on a widely established concept and high market reliability, the export credit insurance policies issued by SBCE are also used as guarantees for export financing. SBCE, acting for itself or on behalf of the Federal Government, provides coverage for external Brazilian sales against Commercial, Political and Extraordinary Risks.
