The Society of British Aerospace Companies (SBAC) was merged with the Defence Manufacturers Association (DMA) and the Association of Police and Public Security Suppliers (APPSS) to form the ADS Group, in October 2009. SBAC also managed the internationally recognised Farnborough Airshow, which is still managed by Farnborough International Limited, a wholly owned subsidery of ADS.
