Saving Pennies 4 A Cure focuses on helping cancer patients and survivors of Triple Negative Breast cancer from across the United States by: • Reducing burden by providing custom care treatment packages for chemotherapy; • Working one-on-one with patients and their families to educate them on matters concerning cancer, life after cancer, and cancer care and in the process helped them rebuild their relationships; • Providing education on the importance of caring for themselves; • Advocate for the quest to find a cure for cancer on a local and global level; • joined forces with several national breast cancer organizations making a difference. Bridging The Gap, between underserved cancer patients, doctors, and researchers through knowledge, awareness, and endowments, and giving back to the cancer community. Saving Pennies 4 A Cure is uniquely positioned to impact women’s access to breast cancer screening. Our operations were specifically designed to overcome current barriers that prevent low-income, medically underserved women from receiving high-quality breast care. We offer an enhanced level of care coordination for our patients including initiation into the screening, assistance with identifying eligibility for public assistance programs, and post image navigating services. We are the only stationary 3D mammography facility providing direct services within a community health clinic setting. We are the only facility to offer state of the art 3D mammography to the medically underserved population east of the Anacostia River and we are the only mammography that will screen any woman who comes to us regardless of insurance status
