Save One Life Information

Save One Life is a sponsorship program that provides direct support for children and adults with hemophilia in developing countries. For a tax deductible gift of $240/year ($20 a month), sponsors help pay for transportation to clinics, life-saving medicine and painkillers, vitamins to prevent anemia, nutritious food, school fees, and other needs. Eighty five percent (85%) of the sponsorship amount goes directly to the sponsored beneficiary - with up to 15% being used by the beneficiary's local hemophilia organization to provide improved services for its members. Save One Life currently operates in Belize, the Dominican Republic, Romania, Zimbabwe, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Egypt and the Philippines. Save One Life was founded in 2000 by Laureen A. Kelley, the mother of a child with hemophilia, and president of LA Kelley Communications, Inc., a worldwide source of educational and material resources on bleeding disorders.
