Founded in 1982, Saugatuck Capital Company is a long-established private investment firm committed to leveraged recapitalizations, buyouts, and growth equity investments in the lower, middle market. Sourcing investment opportunities through its well-established network, Saugatuck invests in service-intensive businesses demonstrating a proven ability to generate stable, growing cash flows where it has the requisite experience to drive accelerated portfolio company performance. Saugatuck seeks to make private equity investments in companies with exceptional management teams and unique opportunities for growth. For over three decades, the Firm has been dedicated to the philosophy of hands-on value creation in which exceptional management teams, in partnership with Saugatuck's capital and expertise, build companies of outstanding value. In addition, the principals are supported by a Board of Advisors and a cadre of Operating Partners, which provides additional resources and expertise. Across its history, Saugatuck investments have been funded by the principals of Saugatuck and their families, individual accredited investors, family offices, pension funds and institutional investors across four dedicated private equity funds and five special purpose funds (single company direct investments).
