Greater Good Charities is an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization devoted to improving the health and well-being of people, pets, and the planet. In addition to creating and operating a suite of Signature Programs, Greater Good Charities has invested over $650 million in impact, including cash grants, in-kind supplies, and programmatic support to charity partners, encompassing thousands of projects that support our mission.

Community Roots Charter School is a rigorous learning community where education is embedded in meaningful real-world contexts and children are deliberately taught to see the connections between school and the world. Community Roots students will meet or exceed the New York State standards and be prepared to excel in the 21st century by becoming independent thinkers and working productively within a diverse group of learners. At Community Roots, students learn to combine curiosity with appropriate application, which leads to deep understanding and the confidence to become who they want to be.

The mission of Peaceful Paths is to save lives and create change. Peaceful Paths is the certified domestic violence center that serves survivors of domestic violence in Alachua, Bradford, and Union counties in Florida. Peaceful Paths provides a wide range of services including emergency shelter, 24-hour helpline, victim advocacy, children’s programming, education and training, crisis counseling and support groups, community awareness and intervention, and violence prevention programs. Peaceful Paths is a member of the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence (FCADV). Peaceful Paths currently has 42 employees that work together to further the mission of ending domestic violence. The organization is governed by a Board of Directors that is made up of local community citizens who volunteer their time to help oversee the fiscal health, community support, and general well-being of the agency.
