sasa is the largest local public transport company in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano. It offers its service to more than 20 million passengers a year in the municipalities of Bolzano, Laives and Merano. From 14 November 2021 it has also started the management of about 30 suburban lines, expanding its fleet and its service range. With hydrogen, electric and hybrid buses, sasa relies on innovative technologies to make sustainable urban transport possible today. It is also involved in several pilot projects for the study and development of innovative forms of mobility. Founded in 1948, sasa is today a joint-stock company and since 2017 has been operating in compliance with the requirements of current legislation on in-house providing.
