Toni & Chris Nightingale started My Teddy in 2004, with a new, unique gift concept of a cuddly personalised teddy bear. There are now over 110,000 My Teddy bears all over the world. Having both worked in the corporate world we were looking for something more flexible and family friendly when we had children. We had received lots of lovely personalised and keepsake gifts for our son when he was born, but all of them went on the wall or in a cabinet, and we wanted something that was for the child, not us. Hence, My Teddy was born. My Teddy started in our Brisbane lounge room and quickly moved to our garage, then with a move to the Sunshine Coast saw us create our special bears from a small local shop. A few years later and we have our own Teddy shed and a couple of part time helpers, where we make all our lovely creations, and ship them from.
