The mission of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Regional Tourism Board (Comité Régional de Tourisme) is to promote the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region in France and overseas. The general mission of France’s Regional Tourist Boards is to provide French and overseas visitors with detailed tourist information relative to their region, in the form of publications, websites and multimedia. Additional missions, such as the observation of the regional tourist industry and regional tourism trends, and the overseeing of travel professionals and the tourist industry in general, are also undertaken to various degrees.
