Sarpeda is built around two core insights: biological signal in microscopy channels is sparse, and unwanted background is structured and therefore predictable. Our patent-pending AI exploits both to extract more biological information and cleaner signal, and to accelerate imaging, without new hardware or reagents. By combining carefully designed experiments with an AI layer, Sarpeda increases the information density and signal quality of images acquired across microscopy platforms, from widely used research systems to advanced, high-end instruments. With a current focus on fluorescence microscopy, this approach enables research and discovery teams to extract more value from every experiment—particularly when working in 3D, with precious samples, constrained workflows, or existing imaging infrastructure.
