Sapphire Audio is the latest high performance, high value "sound" business founded by Tom DeVesto. Sapphire Audio offers home entertainment products designed to deliver audiophile performance at extraordinary value for all music lovers. Sapphire Loudspeakers are its first products reflecting the worldwide experience of two industry veterans Tom DeVesto and Cary Christie. The combination of these two renowned talents of the audio industry, one widely respected for audiophile performance and the other for innovation and value, offers consumers ground-breaking new products that will greatly enhance their music and home theater experience. It makes "sound" business sense to combine resources for greater results. "My primary business focus is to bring to market innovative, first-of-kind, audio products that deliver high performance and high value," says Tom DeVesto, Sapphire CEO and Founder. " I get a big kick out of satisfying audiophiles with products that are 'red hot blue' and affordable by everyone. Sapphire will continue to forge design and manufacturing partnerships to build on and maximize our own extensive experience and capabilities." Cary Christie described the new Sapphire loudspeaker series as "Innovative designs combining materials in new ways to deliver very high performance, dynamic, and efficient loudspeakers." The Sapphire tweeter is a new dome design, used across the line. The Sealed Cellular Diaphragm (SCD) combines very high structural rigidity with very low mass, for ultra clean performance to way beyond hearing. The aluminum cone midrange/woofers, doubled in the towers and center, integrate smoothly with the tweeters and maintain very high efficiency across their performance range. And, the side-firing woofers in the towers complete sophisticated three-way systems. The systems deliver lifelike performance with very wide frequency response and very large dynamic range.
