Sapa a world leader in innovative aluminium solutions. Predominately supplying into the UK and Irish markets, our core business is aluminium extrusion/profiles/components. We have 6 presses in the UK, two at each of our sites. Our UK headquarters are centrally located at Tibshelf, Derbyshire. Geographically we are located in the North of England at our Birtley plant in Co. Durham and the South of England at Cheltenham in Gloucestershire. Employing a team of 650 people across the UK and Ireland our bases have an advantage of being local to you. We have an extensive range of standard extrusions, but our core business is in the development of bespoke extruded solutions for the diverse range of customers. Our commitment to the environment is well established. Our carbon foot print is always high in our company’s ethos, demonstrated by our in-house remelt facilities at the Tibshelf plant to ensure we are able to recycle scrap using only 5% of the energy used to produce the raw material. A commercial alloy range of 6005A, 6060, 6063, 6063A, 6082, 1070/1350, 6061, 6101A and 6463 is on offer. Redditch Application Centre in Worcestershire and Holden Aluminium Technologies based in Bromyard in Herefordshire, are home to our fabrication divisions, incorporating, bending/forming, coded welding, and machining amongst other services where we can carry out assembly work when appropriate. Our anodising facilities have had an up-grade where we offer a spectrum of natural, organic gold, and the Sapa Lok process of Black and Bronze, completing a cycle to meet different aspects of your aluminium extrusion needs with the necessary approved quality standards. Our technical expertise is always available and we invite you to involve us early in any product development so that we can help provide a cost effective solution to your requirements.
