SANSABELT has been in the business of creating easy-to-wear, fashion forward men's pants for over 80 years. A visionary named Jack M. Ruby, the son of Russian immigrants, is credited with creating the first pair of SANSABELT pants. His family business, called Jaymar-Ruby, was based in Chicago and manufactured men's overalls and children's playsuits. As he watched sales of this new pant, which he deemed "the most comfortable pant in the world", because of its stretch inner waistband, grow beyond his expecations and in 1931, bought out his partner and began producing them exclusively.
