Artspace is America’s leader in artist-led community transformation.
Our mission is to create, foster, and preserve affordable and sustainable space for artists and arts organizations. With headquarters in Minneapolis and offices in Los Angeles, New Orleans, New York, Seattle and Washington DC, Artspace runs a network of more than 50 affordable arts facilities in 20 states. Our facilities provide more than 1,500 affordable live/work units for artists and their families as well as a million square feet of non-residential space for artists, arts organizations and creative enterprises.
Culturehub's mission is to promote international exchange and understanding by supporting innovative artists around the world. We emphasize the necessity for artists, working in all mediums, to experiment with new and developing technologies. We link artists with the tools and resources necessary for them to incubate new ideas. Through our projects we strive to broaden cross-cultural understanding and to generate new methodologies for merging art and technology.
Created by the Regional Arts Commission in 1997, the CAT Institute is an innovative program based on the idea that art is an agent of positive social change. The CAT Institute provides a professional level, comprehensive training program to prepare artists of all disciplines and their community partners to collaborate in creating and sustaining significant arts-based programs primarily in under-resourced community settings, such as neighborhood organizations, social service agencies, development initiatives, and education programs.
