San Angelo Security was established in 1961, and remains today owned and operated by the same family that continues to provide the only local central station monitoring center. Founder James R. McClellan was a 28-year veteran policeman with the San Angelo Police Department. Offices held during his tenure include Chief of Police in the mid 70's. Hence, familiarity with crime and its evolution over the past several years gives our company a vivid past-to-present view of the needs of our clients. Because of the ever increasing magnitude of violent crime against public officials, we set out to design and implement security systems to prevent, deter and document such occurrences.
