Samuelson & Fetter LLC Information

Samuelson and Fetter has recently completed the restoration of the Santa Fe Train Depot in Monrovia, Ca. The building was abandoned for close to 40 years; however, in 2016 the City of Monrovia declared the building a historical Landmark and renovations to convert it into a restaurant were started. The building is located next to the Monrovia Goldline Rail station, and is apart of the Transit Oriented District redevelopment plan (TOD). The area surrounding the depot is undergoing massive redevelopment, and over the next 24 months more than 600 new multi-family apartment units will be completed within a 3 block radius of the Depot. TOD locations are ideal for future business growth, and are major targets for both private and public investment which will fuel business opportunities for the foreseeable future. The City of Monrovia has also invested in improving the park directly surrounding the Depot, and it is now been improved to include an outdoor music amphitheater and a pedestrian promenade lined with newly commissioned art work. The park hosts events, and will provide a restaurant operator opportunities to collaborate with the surrounding community. There are annual summer concert programs, as well as an annual beer and wine tasting festival. The building is currently available for prospective restaurant operators to tour, and Samuelson and Fetter are dedicated to working with a restaurant operator to create a successful business which will benefit the surrounding community.
