Sampson is an industrial biotechnology start-up, launched in June, 2015. We are a sustainable advanced materials manufacturer, working with CENER (Navarre) and ITeC (Barcelona) to develop and upscale solutions for the global building materials market. In November 2016, Sampson was selected as one of three winners of the Climate-KIC/Birmingham City Council/Encraft West Midlands Climate Innovation Challenge competition. Also in November, Innovate UK awarded Sampson a Global Feasibility Study grant to progress its collaboration with CENER and ITeC in Spain. In June 2016, Sampson was selected to participate in the 2016 Climate-KIC Low Carbon Accelerator Programme in the UK, and earlier this year, founder Dr. Colleen Becker was nominated for the C3E Women in Clean Energy Symposium's award in the entrepreneurship category (Stanford, MIT, US Department of Energy).
