Learn more about Same-Same's mission: to create a menu that is delightfully different! Same-Same but Different is a family-run restaurant which has graced the streets of Bath since 2002. The name 'Same-Same but Different' - a popular saying throughout most of Asia - reflects the ethos of the Bath restaurant: the difference being that whilst SSBD maintains a cafe-style, relaxed ambience, they have a huge passion behind the food they create. Everything is made from scratch on the premises by Head Chef Tom and his team. Using only local Bath-based suppliers, Same-Same's tapas and mains menu is presented on an 8-foot blackboard, ensuring that dishes change regularly and with the seasons. Their famous breakfast and brunch menu is served every day until 3.30pm (4pm on weekends). The artisan sandwiches (served on Bertinet Bakery bread) is on offer as well as some of their very popular main courses. Homemade cakes are served fresh from the oven daily, and can be washed down with a delicious, fairly traded, organic coffee made by one of their baristas. As day turns to night, Same-Same's cafe-style ambience becomes more of a restaurant/ tapas bar with lots of candles, music and a small, but perfectly formed wine menu - creating a wonderful atmosphere which suits both groups and couples alike.
