The MISSION of Salt & Light is to share God's love by fighting poverty with opportunities that empower people for lasting change. The VISION of Salt & Light is to see each person growing in their God-given potential. First and foremost, we are a ministry committed to sharing God’s love. This has been and always will be the core of who we are. We fight poverty each and every day. Not just material poverty, but also poverty of spirit and community. We recognize that each of us is broken and in need of healing. We fight all levels of poverty with opportunities that empower people. We believe God has granted each person gifts and abilities that are valuable to our community. We long to see lasting change in each person that walks through our doors. This could be a newfound sense of worth, a full-time job that provides financially, an expanded sense of compassion for mankind, or a renewed identity in Christ.
