Hard Rock Cafe, Inc. was founded in 1971 by Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton in London. In 1979, the Cafe began covering its walls with rock and roll memorabilia, a tradition which expanded to others across the world. Today, it serves guests quality menu items and memorable experiences. Gamze Cizreli tarafından 2007 senesinde kurulan BigChefs, kurulduğu yıldan bu yana misafir memnuniyetini merkeze koyarak kısa sürede Türkiye’nin önde gelen restoran zinciri markası haline gelmiştir. 2009 yılında gerçekleşen Saruhan Tan ortaklığı ile 2011 – 2013 yılları arasında %350 büyüme gösteren BigChefs, 2014 yılında Dubai’ye açılarak yurt dışı yatırımlarına start vermiştir. 2024 yılına gelindiğinde ise, Türkiye genelinde 95 şubesi, 60 franchise şubesi ve uluslararası alanda 12 franchise şubesi olmakla beraber toplamda 107 şubesi bulunan restoran zinciri, yatırımcıları arasında EBRD (Avrupa Kalkınma ve İmar Bankası), IFC (Uluslararası Finans Kurumu, Dünya Bankası Üyesi), EIF (Avrupa Yatırım Fonu), DEG (Alman Yatırım ve Kalkınma Bankası) gibi uluslararası saygın kurumları barındıran bir özel sermaye fonu olan Taxim Capital’den sağladığı %40 fon desteği ile yurt içi ve yurt dışı yatırımlarını ve girişimlerini büyütmeye devam etmektedir.
