We’re doing this by being at the forefront of developing and implementing smart bus travel services across the region including mobile ticketing, contactless payment, online journey planning and the introduction of the greenest and cleanest vehicles in the country to enhance air quality.
We’re pioneering new solutions such as MYFIRSTMILE, an all in one cab and bus service, which is being trialled in Bristol initially to change how the population commute from their homes to their workplaces. We are also a major operator of the new £230m Metrobus rapid transit system, which will revolutionise public transport in the Bristol city region with faster journeys and a much higher standard in passenger experience.

Veolia UK provides solutions for ecological transformation which means reconciling human progress with environmental protection. We develop and implement local solutions to depollute our vital resources and regenerate resources to preserve them from depletion along with solutions to decarbonize our ways of living and adapt them to the consequences of climate change.

Every coach we have purchased since 2014 has been Euro VI – the highest emissions standard available. Emissions per coach passenger are much lower than those travelling by car and coaches reduce congestion by using road space more efficiently.
We are accredited by the National Living Wage Foundation for pledging to pay the voluntary, higher real Living Wage across all of our UK businesses.
