Salik’s journey began in July 2007 with the launch of Dubai’s fully electronic toll gate system, designed to enhance traffic flow and reduce congestion. Over the years, Salik has evolved to become a key component of Dubai’s transportation infrastructure, known for its efficiency and innovation. In 2022, Salik was established as a Public Joint Stock Company (PJSC) under Law (12) of 2022, marking a new chapter as an independent entity managing and operating the tolling system. Salik continues to pioneer smart mobility solutions that support Dubai’s economic growth and sustainable development.
