SalientPoint is a consulting company run by Ian Stevenson, operating since 2004 and incorporated as Salient Point Consulting Limited in 2011. My passion is bringing new products and technologies to market. I have over 15 years experience of doing this, working as an engineer, consultant, executive, founder, and on behalf of investors. This breadth of experience helps me to contribute to all aspects of building and growing young companies, and especially to help bridge the gap that often exists between a core technology and market needs. I have some regular associates who deliver specialist skills such as market research, and I have built up an extensive network so that when we need to bring in expertise or industry knowledge I am able to find appropriate people to help. SalientPoint is the vehicle through which I deliver the benefit of my skills and experience, and those of associates, to companies that need them.
