Sakker El Dekkene Information

‘Sakker el Dekkene’ is a young NGO that aims to raise public awareness about the dangers of corruption and its high cost to the economy, and to promote a culture of integrity and good governance in Lebanon. Sakker El Dekkene seeks to encourage members of the public to report instances of corruption and bribery that they witness or are involved in, through a collection of tools and platforms specifically developed for this purpose, including a website (www.sakkera.com), a smart phone App (‘sakkera’ on iOS and Android) and a hotline: 76 80 80 80. These reports will allow Sakker El Dekkene to collect and analyze data to help uncover the realities of corruption across sectors and services of public administration. These metrics will be used to raise awareness on the importance of fighting corruption, to support the planning of sound and targeted reforms, and advocate modernized laws and legislation, all geared towards building a virtuous and constructive relationship between the people and the Lebanese government.
