Sarah Rosenhaus Interior Design is a full service multi-disciplinary design studio in Santa Monica, CA founded by Sarah Rosenhaus in 2003. Our work is centered on our love of all things beautiful and our desire to create functional beauty in everyday life. We are led by our love of color, texture and natural elements, incorporating nature into all that we do. We are drawn to history and the depth that comes in juxtaposing the old with the new. Merging this with the unique storytelling of our who are clients are and how they live. Our approach is holistic. With each project we incorporate bespoke pieces of furniture, custom millwork, unique textiles and beautiful found objects. We strive to strike a balance between refined softness and bold moments. This creates a compelling and uncontrived look for each project we touch. Our process is rooted in our relationship with the client, our shared relationship with the space and finding the narrative that expresses this unique collaboration. We are hands on in all aspects of the project from conception to completion. The SRID team can work with you to refresh a room or consult from the very start of a new build to everything in between. Our approach is comprehensive, with knowledge in restoration of old homes, a curated approach to selecting finishes and decor, furniture design, custom millwork as well as exterior design, landscape and new builds. We often begin working with clients before construction on their home even begins. Our architectural detailer can embellish the original blueprints, adding columns, arches and domes, inset walls, fireplaces and more infusing the BDC Interiors design philosophy into the very structure of the house. During construction, designers regularly visit the construction site, ensuring the contractor is properly translating our clients vision. After construction, BDC Interiors stays involved in every aspect of finishing a home until every detail is perfect and our clients are ready to move into the lavishly appointed home of their dreams.
