Saint Paul Police Foundation Information

The Saint Paul Police Foundation is a 501(c)(3) corporation established in 2005. Since then, the foundation has provided more than $1.5 million in support to the Saint Paul Police Department. The Foundation's work has supported numerous projects such as the Safe City camera initiative, the police department K-9 program, survivor resources, Shop with Cops, the Cops & Kids program, and more. Donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible. The Foundation depends entirely on the generosity of corporations, individuals, foundations, and other philanthropic organizations for project and operating budgets. It receives no tax-levy dollars for its operations. The Saint Paul Police Department has authorized the Foundation to seek funding from private sources to support police initiatives. The Foundation is the primary vehicle for tax-exempt gifts and grants from individuals, businesses, and philanthropies for the Saint Paul Police Department. The Foundation does not solicit by telephone or use telemarketers, nor does it provide goods or services in exchange for support.
