We love sailing, and we love Darwin! Sail Darwin offers genuine sailing aboard a 50ft luxury catamaran, from 3 hour daytime, sunset, and overnight cruises on our beautiful harbour, or extended sailing cruises from 4 – 14 days to the Tiwi Islands, The Kimberley coastline, East Timor, The Spice Islands and beyond. Our aim is to leave guests with an exceptional “real sailing” experience and memories to take home, in comfort and safety aboard Sundancer NT. A sunset sail on Darwin harbour is a must for every visitor to Darwin – join us for our signature Champagne Sunset Sail. This is a great opportunity to get out on the harbour, watch amazing sunsets, enjoy fabulous food and just to experience that feeling of freedom being on the water brings. Enjoy free champagne and a delicious dinner aboard, plus the chance to spot dolphins surfing the bow, turtles, and dugongs. And of course some of the most spectacular sunset skies you’ll ever see. Enthusiastic sailors are welcome to assist the crew in settings the sails, taking the helm, and learning the ropes under the patient and watchful eye of our skipper Dave. Sundancer is 15m x 8m catamaran specifically designed for cruising in tropical conditions. Fully airconditioned through-out, Sundancer NT has 4 double cabins and 2 single bunks and can comfortably accommodate 10 guests for extended periods, or up to 30 guests for harbour cruises. Join us for a 4-day cruise to the Tiwi Islands, where you can experience the delight and colour of a modern-day Aboriginal community and the opportunity to purchase some sensational artwork direct from the artists; or for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, come aboard for a 2 week private charter to the vast, remote, and stunningly beautiful Kimberley coastline.
